The director of ACR+ member ARC visited the Torre de Dolça area of Vila-seca, where a new area is being built to treat the organic fraction of waste. This area is part of the pilot test for the application of a circular economy model in the field of composting, within the framework of the ENI CBC-MED project SIRCLES. It explores new employment opportunities aimed at vulnerable groups, led by the ACR+ member Fundació Formació i Treball with the support and supervision of the ARC.Fundació Formació i Treball will offer training to groups at risk of social exclusion in the emerging activity of organic waste management. It will organise, between 1 March and 7 April, a course on organic waste selection and compost management for 12 people.
