ACR+ member Rezero participates in the Pact for Circular Fashion, an initiative promoted by the Government of Catalonia that aims to reduce the environmental footprint of the textile sector. The bases and content of the pact have been agreed by several agents of the textile value chain. Rezero's participation has been important in emphasising the need to set specific objectives for prevention and reuse, as well as the importance of improving the durability of products. The specific objectives of the Pact for Circular Fashion are to reduce the generation of textile waste by 5-10%; to achieve 25-30% of selective collection of textile waste; and to increase the material recovery of textile waste collected separately (55-60% preparation for reuse and 40-50% recycling of textile waste).
