From July to November this year, ACR+ member NLWA will be holding a series of free repair, reuse and upcycling events, in collaboration with Groundwork London and a number of other local bodies and experts.
 
The events aim to give residents in NLWA's constituent boroughs the opportunity to learn new skills that help them repair items in their home or refresh them by upcycling them into something useful and new. The repair events help people gain the ability to fix furnishing problems in order to reduce planned obsolescence, prolong the life of second hand items, express creativity and minimise waste when something can be repaired instead of being thrown away.
