To combat the problem of littering along fields and pastures, the Walloon non-profit association "Be Wapp" is launching a new campaign in 15 municipalities of ACR+ member Wallonia. The aim is to make motorists and passers-by aware that throwing their waste on the ground has serious consequences for fauna and flora, with a clear message: "We grow vegetables here, not your waste! Two panels are placed along the fields. The first, personalised panel depicts the farmer of the fields or the breeder, the second features a local Clean-up Ambassador. To act where products likely to become litter are purchased, the campaign will be visible in local shops through posters and awareness-raising tools to remind people of the action and repeat the message.
