Given the new EU political landscape in Brussels, during the last annual EPR Club Planning meeting in December 2019, attending members agreed to organise (at least) one event specially targeted at Members of the European Parliament in early 2020.

The aim would be to provide them with a general overview of the topical issues related to extended producer responsibility. This will be followed by a series of regular lunch debates on topics ranging from addressing free-riding in the e-commerce sector to EPR for micropollutants from products in the water cycle. An international conference in the second half of 2020 is also envisaged.
