On 19 October 2021, ACR+ organised the second meeting with FOODRUS Associated Regions as part of the work on cooperation activities for the promotion of solutions on food waste prevention in the vegetables, bread and meat supply chains. During the meeting, ACR+ members Arnhem Nijmegen region, Metropolitan Region Amsterdam and ARC officially joined FOODRUS project activities as new Associated Regions, joining the other 5 regions that are partners of the project.
 
In addition, ACR+ presented the recent development of the ongoing activities addressing food waste prevention and set the base for action in the follower territories. The meeting was a first opportunity to share knowledge and experience among EU regional actors, identify potential areas of cooperation and define the next steps of action to later develop regional replication roadmaps.
