ACR+ member LIPOR has published the evaluation of the Embrulha project for the first semester of 2019. As part of LIPOR “Dose Certa” project strategy, the project “Embrulha” aims to explore an acceptable and environmentally sustainable solution to reduce food waste in Porto’s restaurants.

72 restaurants have been participating, offering 25,800 boxes for customers to take their leftovers home. Thanks to this, 9.58 tonnes of food have been saved (by being brought back home) and 2.01 tonnes of CO2 have been avoided.
