With resolution no. 198/2019 of 15 October 2019, ACR+ member San Giuseppe Vesuviano, upon the proposal of the Head of the environmental service, approved the adhesion of the municipality to the  "Plastic Free" campaign, a national campaign promoted by the Italian Ministry of the Environment to encourage the use of biodegradable materials.

In this way, the municipality of San Giuseppe Vesuviano has implemented a series of guidelines that will lead to an effective application of the 4R's rule (reduce, reuse, recycle, recover), to the activation of an awareness campaign and to the elimination of plastic packaging, in favour of environmentally compatible solutions, according to environmental sustainability criteria.
