To encourage its residents to sort even more and avoid residual waste, ACR+ member Ibogem will soon start introducing the differentiated tariff system for residual waste. This means that containers of residual waste will be weighed during emptying.

By 2022, residents of the Ibogem region (municipality of Beveren, Kruibeke, Zwijndrecht) should not produce more than 141 kg of residual waste per inhabitant. At present, the three municipalities with 147.11 kg per inhabitant are still above that target.
