ACR+ member Diputación de Castellón has awarded the contract for the public service of selective multi-stream waste collection for municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants to social inclusion companies for a total amount of EUR 126,744.20.

A representative of the Sustainability department, explained that this new service, launched in 83 municipalities in the counties of Castellón, will be responsible for the collection, preparation for reuse and recycling of various waste streams, such as batteries, textiles, toys and small electrical appliances. The collection will be carried out at the collection points set up by the town councils for this purpose.
