Construction sites are the main source of waste in France. Although the players in this sector are organising themselves to turn construction waste into a potential resource, there is still room for improvement in certain sectors thanks to the application of circular economy principles. Re-use, re-cycling and the integration of recycled materials are all levers that can be activated to facilitate the integration of the circular economy in construction sites and operations.

Developed by ACR+ member Institut National de l’Economie Circulaire in collaboration with Enckell Avocats, the “Questions and answers for integrating the circular economy in construction” publication identifies the levers that can be mobilised to facilitate the implementation of the circular economy in the construction industry.
