On 4 October, the competent authorities in Belgium, including ACR+ members Brussels Environment, Wallonia and OVAM, will organise the annual Belgian meeting for parties interested in the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and circular economy. EMAS is set up by the European Community which organisations can join voluntarily to assess and improve their environmental performance. EMAS published a report on the contribution of EMAS to circular economy on 2017. This report is a guide for both EMAS organisations that want to participate in circular economy and other organisations that want to use EMAS as a tool in their circular economy strategy.
