The awards ceremony of the second home and community composting competition of the ACR+ member Greater Pamplona took place. In addition to the winner for best home compost and best community compost, this year a prize has been awarded for composting in schools.

During 2020, 111 new families signed up for home composting in the Pamplona Region, which means a cumulative total of 3,421 participating households. Between them, 2,483 tonnes of organic waste were managed. In the case of community composting, 700 households participated in 43 composting areas that managed a total of 229 tonnes of waste. Finally, it should be noted that 795 families opted for self-management of organic waste using their own resources, managing a total of 331 tonnes of waste.
