As part of the door-to-door selective collection project "Reciclar é Dar+”, the Municipality of Vila do Conde, with the support of ACR+ member LIPOR, started a new phase of selective collection of packaging and food waste, which will cover around 3,500 households. An awareness-raising campaign has been launched with the aim of introducing the system and providing citizens with the necessary means to ensure the success of the initiative. Each household will be equipped with a set of five small stackable containers for the recycling of paper/cardboard, plastic/metal and glass packaging and food waste.
