The minister of environment of Wallonia is endorsing the use of the purple bags for waste collection in the whole Walloon region. The purple bag allows the collection of plastic packaging, PMD, but also soft plastic such as plastic films and plastic bags.

The so called P+MC project is expected to be extended on Wallonia in 2019. This approach will simplify the recycling process and develop new opportunity for plastic recycling.
