URBAN-WASTE teamed up with ConsumeLess Med project for the project’s last webinar
Following the URBAN-WASTE final conference that took place on 7 May 2019, ACR+ organised a webinar for those who could not attend it: a URBAN-WASTE conference in a simpler and shorter version.
As it was already mentioned, the URBAN-WASTE Conference was pretty much of a success and the URBAN-WASTE consortium is very proud of it and happy with the outcomes and synergies made. Although the Conference attracted the attention of more than 150 people, there were still many who couldn’t make it to Brussels that day. This is why the last URBAN-WASTE webinar will be dedicated to some key findings and closing remarks.
The Conference on 7 May was also a great opportunity for synergies with external cities and regions to join the “movement” and those other local and regional authorities who started working on making tourism more sustainable by signing the Charter of Commitments which had its own spotlight at the Conference. For this webinar the project highlighted another synergy that was built during the project’s lifetime – the cooperation with ConsumeLess Med project which is very much alike in terms of objectives and targeted outcomes.
The webinar tooke place on 28 May 2019. Watch the recordings here.
