"CLEAN MOUNTAIN" is the new programme by the Community of Communes of Briançonnais (France) and the area managers, in partnership with ACR+ member CITEO and ADEME (French environment and energy management agency). To develop sorting in parks and slopes of the ski resorts, to encourage people to sort when possible or to keep their waste to sort later, the experimentation relies on the deployment of local sorting points coupled with a communication campaign. The holidaymakers and residents of the region will benefit from 42 sorting points (for packaging, paper and household waste). These facilities are particularly well adapted to the location, including when it snows. The signage to identify the facilities and the sorting rules has been designed considering visitor routes and the most common waste.
