Bruxelles Propreté 80px

Bruxelles-Propreté inaugurated the largest public recycling park in Brussels. Situated north of the capital, this new Recypark expands its activities over an area of 31 000 m2. This is almost double the size of the older site located southwest of the capital. The new infrastructure will provide temporary storage facilities for a range of classified waste collected by the agency (chemicals, electronics, glass, etc.). It will make containers available to the public for the disposal of bulky items. This new Recypark is a symbol of Bruxelles-Propreté's deployment as a central link in the circular economy in Brussels.

To achieve the ambitious goal of recycling 60% of waste by 2030, the Brussels Region has initiated the development of new Recyparks.  After this site, a new container park is set to open in September in another part of the city, while another location has been identified for the development of an additional Recypark by 2028.
