The HOOP project – Hub of circular cities bOOsting Platform to foster investments for the valorisation of urban biowaste and wastewater – is about investing in local initiatives to extract valuable resources from urban biowaste and wastewater in order to make innovative bio-based products.

Project co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme, 2020 - 2024

The HOOP Project is creating a community of practice made of cities and regions to exchange knowledge on similar bioeconomy challenges, explore similar innovations and participate to specific workshops, via the dedicated platform HOOP Urban Circular Bioeconomy Hub. So far, already 26 entities joined the HOOP network, now counting 9 waste management and water treatment companies, and 16 public authorities, covering 11 European countries. Curious about it? Watch again the presentation made by ACR+ during the EU Green Week event or the one during the second Innovation Exchange webinar “Waste-to-value” hosted by the Circular Bioeconomy Cluster. And why not then register to join the network?
