Pilot Platform for Mediterranean Rivers and Lakes Communities – a joint initiative by Seacure, BlueMissionMed and Regione Piemonte
Conceived as part of the BlueMissionMed Support Programme and SEACURE’s regional scale-up activities, the initiative builds on pilots and awards that have already mobilised stakeholders around rivers and lakes, now moving a step further to focus on governance innovation and financial tools for scaling adoption.
What to expect?
The Pilot Platform will showcase successful practices, through an open structured dialogue between river basin authorities, policymakers, investors, and civil society, providing concrete entry points for scaling solutions through finance and policy frameworks. By linking innovative solutions with funding opportunities and aligning them with multi-level governance, it creates the conditions for accelerated adoption and replication across the Mediterranean.
This workshop offers stakeholders a unique opportunity to exchange, commit, and co-design strategies that will shape the sustainable future of rivers and lakes in the Mediterranean.
Who can participate?
This workshop is open to all stakeholders from the Mediterranean area involved in the management of water resources at multiple levels – from local to regional, national, and basin-wide – including river basin authorities, local governments, researchers, civil society, and the private sector.
