ACR+ General Assembly 2019
The ACR+ General Assembly was special this year, as it marked an important milestone for the Association: our 25th anniversary.
ACR+ members met in Dublin between 12 and 14 June 2019 to celebrate a quarter of a century. The event was gracioulsy hosted by ACR+ member the East Midlands Waste Region Management Office (EMWRMO).
The three-day event started with a meeting of the Board of Directors on 12 June, followed by a visit to the Rediscovery Centre. All ACR+ members then attended a Welcome Reception in the evening.
Hugh Coughlan from EMWRMO and Iain Gulland, ACR+ President, opened the General Assembly on the second day, 13 June 2019. It featured presentations by members and thematic roundtables. In the evening, ACR+ held its 25 years anniversary dinner at the Christchurch Cathedral.
On the last day, 14 June 2019, EMRWMO invited all ACR+ members to attend a seminar discussing its involvement in the TriFocal project (download seminar agenda separately here), which is dedicated to food waste prevention.
