In the Framework of the European Week for Regions and Cities, ACR+ and Municipal Waste Europe are organising a one-hour event titled Implementation Funding Tools for Municipalities & Regions: TAIEX EIR Peer-to-Peer Projects and HOOP Network. The session will be held on 10 October from 11:30 to 12:30 CEST at SQUARE Brussels Meeting Centre, Room 206, Mont des Arts, Brussels. The European legal framework, in particularly on environmental issues, greatly affects local and regional authorities, which are often obliged to contribute to the achievement of legal targets and deadlines. Moreover, over the last years, the Green Deal and subsequent changes in the European environmental law have brought enormous challenges for cities and regions. Municipal and regional authorities are invited to take part to the session to learn about two tools that can help your municipality or region to turn the law into practical achievements through cross-border cooperation programmes, both funded by the European Commission: TAIEX EIR Peer-to-Peer and the HOOP Network. Cities and regions interested in participating in the session are encouraged to join the HOOP Network and have their travel costs covered as participating in a HOOP activity.

Register for the session by 29 September.
