The province of Fryslân, is organising an official World Circular Economy Forum 2024 accelerator session on 18 April, in collaboration with Chemport Europe, the province of Groningen, the Municipality of Groningen, hubs Circulair Groningen and Circular Friesland, Groningen Seaports, Greenwise Circular Plastics, and Holland Circular Hotspot. It will focus on the northern Netherlands’ bottom-up, regional approach towards circularity. This will be illustrated by best practices in plastics, textiles and construction.
During this session, the circular hub in Northern Netherlands will share its approach, aiming to build circular bridges transnationally and provide regions, local authorities, regional partnerships and companies with action perspectives for transitioning to a circular economy. Policy makers, business representatives and interested members of the public are invited to actively engage in knowledge exchange and mutual inspiration.
