The second WES activity has been launched in Tunisia. The “Support for the implementation of a sustainable public purchasing operation in Tunisia” started with an online kick off meeting moderated by ACR+ and the WES key experts, that involved the Tunisian Ministry of Environment, the Tunis International Centre for Environment Technologies (CITET) and the EU Delegation in Tunis.

WES will support Tunisia to make its public procurement processes more environmentally sustainable, with a focus on the construction sector. Tunisia selected this activity out of the many WES activities to be implemented in the various ENI South Partner Countries. The activity falls under the WES theme “Promotion of the circular economy” and the objective is to develop a concrete action supporting local public authorities.
