The Metropolitan City of Bologna successfully hosted a Workshop for Exchange of Experiences and a study visit on 22 and 23 November 2023, as part of the MINEV project. This event brought together experts, stakeholders, and enthusiasts committed to addressing waste challenges associated with major events.
 
As advisory partner, ACR+ led the Workshop for Exchange of Experiences for partners to share best practices in waste minimisation for significant events. The session covered various event categories, including big sports events, religious events, and traveling events. Examples were shared from the Davis Cup in Malaga, Krakow Marathon, waste prevention at the King Baldwin Stadium in Brussels, Holy Week in Malaga, Franciscan Festival in Bologna, and the Pope's visit to Lisbon for World Youth Day.
