Ban on one way packaging at retailer' counters

The Federation of enterprises of trade and distribution (FCD) aims at a ban on all one-way packaging at the counters by 2011. This specific initiative is part of a mutual agreement with the government, including concrete targets and indicators such as informing consumers about the environmental impact of 300 selected products, triple by 2010 the number of products offered to consumers with an eco-label , increase by 15% products from organic farming, reduce the overall amount of packaging waste by 10%,… Regarding the ban of on one-way packaging concrete actions were set up with the industry and certified eco organisms.
