ACR+ member OVAM commissioned a study to investigate how cooperation in the field of waste collection and processing within a business park or cluster of companies can lead to better environmental performance and higher efficiency. The resulting study ‘Collective waste solutions for business parks’ concludes that collective waste collection with a central collection point at a business park is always more cost-efficient and environmentally conscious than scenarios in which companies organise source sorting on their own.
