For several months already, a funny truck is crisscrossing the neighbourhoods of ACR+ member Rennes Métropôle. This truck is one of the mobile dumping sites, an initiative of the City of Rennes, operated for four years by ACR+ member Suez group.
Complementing three fixed dumping stations, serving the 215,000 inhabitants of the city, the mobile dumping site installs its large waste bins in a new district of Rennes every week. In six months, the mobile garbage collection has collected 71 tonnes of waste, including bulky, scrap, hazardous waste, and electronic and electrical devices.
