ACR+ member EMULSA hosted on 22-23 October 2019 the kick-off meeting of the Interreg Europe project 2Lifes: Promoting Re-use from the Public Policies, that it will be leading until 2023. Counting also with ACR+ member ANEL in the consortium, this project aims to help public administrations promote reuse policies as the waste management approach which leads to environmental sustainability as well as employment and solidarity.

2LIFES focuses exclusively on re-use and more specifically on re-use activities promoted by public administrations – something pending as it is usually promoted by the third sector. The main expected results are the development of new channels, infrastructures and protocols for re-use through instruments in force as well as the awareness-raising of households, businesses and administrations regarding the need to change the consumption patterns.
