Residents of ACR+ member Maastricht can deposit baby nappies and incontinence materials in special containers, which work with an access system, in 27 collection points. The nappies and incontinence material must be presented in special bags, which are available free of charge at the existing sales points of the residual bag in Maastricht. The municipality takes the contents of the container to ARN's first fully-fledged nappy processing plant in the Netherlands in Weurt. There, the waste is recycled under high pressure and high temperature.

In order to draw the attention of as many residents as possible to the use of the container, a leaflet provides information on registration and use and an overview of the 27 collection points where the special containers are located.
