The Mayor of ACR+ member Zagreb announced plans for the digitalisation of the municipal waste collection system in the city. It aims to reduce the number of waste containers in the city by positioning the containers in certain locations through a modern system of monitoring and protecting the containers against improper separation or unauthorised disposal of waste. He pointed out that in the city centre, given the visual identity and historical significance of the protected unit, underground tanks should be built. In the future, the plan is to have all the information about all the tanks and all the locations so that smart solutions are implemented.
