In March, more than 80 companies and organisations signed the Green Deal Anders Verpakt (GDAV), a green deal focusing on packaging avoidance and reuse launched by ACR+ member OVAM. Through concrete projects and actions, they have committed themselves to rethink their services and/or packaging and related processes towards the prevention and reuse of packaging.

However, this switch often requires a change in the entire business model and there are many systemic bottlenecks that can impede such a change. In order to reinforce this change, the GDAV steering group is launching a project financing of EUR 600,000 aimed at companies, research institutions, local authorities and organisations that have projects in mind that contribute to the elimination of one or more systemic bottlenecks in the system, such as increasing circular innovation in the value chain.
