The Civic Amenity Site in Ħal Far will welcome second-hand items, thanks to an investment done by ACR+ member WasteServ Malta to open its first Reuse Centre. At this reuse centre, the public will be able to get used items that are still in good condition through a donation and the money will go to a fund set up by WasteServ Malta, which will be used for environmental initiatives. With a total investment of EUR 170,000, WasteServ Malta will be opening more centres, in Luqa, Mrieħel, and in Gozo. This project is partially financed by the European Union, as part of the Cohesion Funds - Structural Funds and European Investment 2014-2020.
