The new Catalan Waste Cluster, promoted by ACCIÓ - the agency for business competitiveness of the Department of Enterprise and Employment - and the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, through ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC), aims to establish itself as a driving force for the competitiveness of companies in the sector. The Catalan Waste Cluster shall promote joint work between all its members and the entire value chain of the waste sector, boost its internationalisation, promote innovation and R&D in this field, as well as training and inter-cluster actions, among others. The new cluster is part of the drive for a green and circular economy, which promotes waste reduction and the efficient use of resources.
