ACR+ member LIPOR is carrying out a study, which is part of the REUSE Communities Programme, whose aim is to create streamline circular, sustainable and supportive communities. The objective of the study is to improve the perception of reuse and to extend the life of materials, while maintaining their value.

The Study is aimed at local entities in LIPOR's area of influence that have relevant projects and initiatives in the domain of the social reuse of non-food goods including clothes, furniture, small electrical appliances, footwear, among others. Based on the results obtained in this study, LIPOR intends to identify existing needs, as well as new collaboration mechanisms, in the areas of exchange-share, recovery and donation, that support the development of a network that promotes the extension of the useful life of goods, reducing waste and waste production.
