ACR+ member ENT has launched an English version of its Food Value Calculator. With the motto "Against food waste, we value food," this tool sheds light on the resources required to produce the food we consume. The Food Value Calculator allows users to calculate three environmental indicators associated with the production of a specific quantity of food, along with its approximate economic value. This helps us appreciate everything that goes to waste when fresh foods are discarded before being cooked and consumed. 
Specifically, it calculates carbon footprint, water footprint, land use, and the approximate selling price associated with producing the desired quantity of 25 different types of foods. When assessing the carbon footprint, it accounts for emissions generated from production until the food reaches the point of sale, including emissions related to managing food waste at each stage of the food chain.
