As part of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the the European Union, ACR+ member Wallonia and the Climate Chance Association are organising a gathering of climate stakeholders, the Climate Chance Europe 2024 Wallonia Summit . Scheduled on 8 and 9 February 2024 in Liège, the summit aims to gather over 800 non-state actors, local and European representatives, fostering discussions on climate change adaptation, nature-based solutions and resilience. The event will feature workshops, field visits, parallel meetings and plenary sessions, facilitating exchanges on specific solutions aligned with the objectives of the European Green Deal. The ultimate goal is to draft an ambitious "Liège Declaration," a crucial step in the Belgian Presidency's work on environmental and climate issues.  
 
Additionally, the summit is launching a call for climate actions across the EU, with selected initiatives showcased at the Pitch Corner and featured on the Action Map, highlighting global best practices and climate initiatives.
