As a member of the UN-Habitat Waste Wise Cities Campaign Advisory Group, ACR+ invites you to watch the recordings of two webinars organised to celebrate the International E-Waste Day on 14 October. The first one focused on the second life of Lithium EV batteries and presented four factsheets on the segments of the end-of-life management of electric vehicle batteries: initial battery design, re-purposing in energy storage systems, refurbishing, and recycling. The second focused on E-waste treatment. Practitioners from Kenya and Brazil talked about what kind of e-waste they receive, how they treat it and where the outputs of their process go.
