In September, registration for the 15th edition of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) opened, and the number of awareness-raising actions continues to grow. Participants from various countries are encouraged to fight against waste and promote a model based on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The campaign involves public administrations, private companies, educational institutions, non-profit organisations, and citizens, all working to organise events, challenges, webinars, social media campaigns, visits, and workshops to promote waste prevention. This year's theme is packaging, highlighting its significant environmental impact and encouraging sustainable consumption and production behavior. Additionally, topics like food waste, electronic devices, textiles, education, and citizen engagement will also be addressed in the EWWR 2023 actions. Submitted actions must take place during the EWWR, from 18 to 26 November 2023. The registration deadline is 12 November, so act now if you haven't already.
