ACR+ member ORÉE released its new report "Circular Economy, Fashion, and Textile: Île-de-France from Every Angle", illustrating how to weave a new circular fashion. This work was created as part of the Île-de-France Circular Economy Committee with the support of ADEME, DRIEAT, the Grand Paris Metropolis, and the Île-de-France Region.

Île-de-France ranks second nationally in the number of workers in the fashion and textile sector. However, this industry is one of the most polluting globally. Convinced that the circular economy is a key driver for the ecological transition of the fashion and textile sector, the Île-de-France Circular Economy Committee aimed to showcase concrete examples of local initiatives, whether small or large, mature or in transition, whose models can serve as inspiration. These initiatives cover sustainable sourcing, eco-design, innovations, awareness of responsible consumption, and more. The ten initiatives presented are categorised according to the three phases of the product life cycle: production, consumption and regeneration.
