ACR+ member NILSA is a part of the team that is currently working on and developing the ‘Integrated plan for waste management of Navarra’ (Plan Integrado de Gestión de Residuos de Navarra). This work is being led by the department for rural development, environment and local administration, and the plan will replace the previous plan set to run from 2010-2020 which was annulled by the Supreme Tribunal. The new plan will be in place until 2025 and the latest documents show its commitment to the following concrete objectives by 2025: a reduction of 10% in domestic waste compared to 2010 levels, provide the entire population of Navarra with biowaste collection services of which 70% will be recycled and to treat 100% of waste in a decade.
