On 12 November 2022, ACR+ member LIPOR celebrated 40 years of fruitful activity. At the solemn session of the 40th anniversary of LIPOR, the Board of Directors decided to recognise four organisations, including ACR+, for the importance they have had in supporting the LIPOR project and its Municipalities and for the support they have provided from a technical point of view.

Moreover, the organisation implemented an important amendment to its statutes. In addition to several modifications, which will allow for an even more effective and participatory management, the new identification of the organisation stands out. It will now be known as the Municipalities Association for Sustainable Waste Management of Greater Porto, with the acronym “LIPOR”.
