The Municipality of Genoa, in collaboration with Amiu Genova, has successfully supplied all 450 schools in the Genoese area with the necessary bins for separate waste collection, marking a significant advancement in the region's recycling efforts. This initiative, part of a broader project to foster environmental sustainability and recycling education, provided each school with 10 bins, evenly split between paper and plastic. This effort not only equips schools previously lacking in recycling infrastructure but also includes distributing educational materials tailored to different school levels and audiences, including teachers, students, and families. This initiative reflects a commitment to environmental education, aiming to cultivate a culture of sustainability and responsible waste management among the younger generation and, by extension, their families.
