One year combatting nutrient pollution in the Mediterranean

A year ago, 25 partners from across Europe (including ACR+) joined forces under the SEACURE project to tackle nutrient pollution in the Mediterranean. By working with farmers, water managers, local authorities, and communities, the project has been translating collaboration into action across the basin and beyond. 

To mark this first milestone, SEACURE is launching a new video that showcases its integrated approach across the land–river–sea system. The film highlights how the project is scaling innovative solutions to promote sustainable farming and land management practices, improve wastewater treatment systems, and restore nature’s ability to cleanse itself.
