Bruxelles-Propreté | Brussels Clean Festival 2025: a day to celebrate and promote urban cleanliness

After the success of its first edition, the Brussels Clean Festival returns on 20 September 2025. Organised by Bruxelles-Propreté with support from Fost Plus, the event will feature free interactive activities, educational games, and unique experiences for all ages, including a special “upcycling” fashion show. The festival aims to raise awareness about urban cleanliness, highlight those who work daily to keep the city clean, and encourage citizen participation in building a cleaner, more sustainable Brussels. 

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy hands-on activities like waste-sorting games, discover cleaning vehicles, and attend performances. The event will also reward citizen-led initiatives launched through the Wake-up Clean-up platform and distribute organic bins to promote food waste recycling. With music, street performances, and a final concert by Belgian artist, the festival promises both celebration and education, reinforcing Brussels’ commitment to its Clean.brussels urban strategy and the global World Cleanup Day movement.
