Policy and Governance, ACR+ News
Are you a public officer driving the green transition in your city? SPARKLE offers an interactive learning programme to gain practical knowledge and exchange ideas with peers across Europe. Explore the SPARKLE pillars: governance, fossil-free districts, community energy, sustainable food, and resource-wise economies.
The programme includes five in-person schools:
- Community Energy for locally owned renewable energy production – 18-19 March 2026 in POREČ (Croatia)
- Governance of climate and energy transitions pathways – 28-29 April 2026 in GUIMARÃES (Portugal)
- Resource-wise and socially just local economies – 5-6 May 2026 in CALENZANO (Italy)
- Fossil-free districts and buildings – 27-28 May 2026 in VILNIUS (Lithuania)
- Sustainable food system and land use policies – 11-12 June 2026 in ALBERTVILLE (France)
We invite you to join those schools, especially the one on circular economy (5-6 May) in which ACR+ is involved.
All events are in English with national language translation. A scholarship programme supports 25 local and regional authorities, covering travel, accommodation, and subsistence for 10 representatives from 5 LRAs per school.
