LIPOR | Caps Operation concludes after recycling 1 000 tonnes of plastic caps

Caps Operation project, launched by LIPOR and its Associated Municipalities, concluded with the delivery of equipment from its 20th phase, closing a remarkable initiative that, between 2006 and 2024, engaged thousands of citizens and organisations in promoting social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Over this period, the project collected more than 1 000 tonnes of plastic caps for recycling, invested EUR 668 254 in orthopedic and similar equipment, delivered over 2 000 devices, and benefited 745 organisations. The project aimed to raise awareness about recycling while supporting social causes by providing essential equipment to improve quality of life.
