Province of Fryslân | Water and soil knowledge exchange grant

The Province of Fryslân aims to promote the sharing of knowledge on water and soil in agriculture. The new " Fryslân Water and Soil Knowledge and Information 2025" grant program opens on 15 September, offering EUR 2 million in funding. Part of the Common Agricultural Policy, the grant supports farmers in operating more sustainably. 

The grant targets knowledge providers, including advisory organisations, research institutions, educational centers, and training facilities, as well as associations of such providers. Projects must focus on water and soil topics, with funding up to EUR 500 000 per project. Eligible activities include training, workshops, coaching, demonstrations, and information sessions addressing water and soil management challenges. Projects should contribute to sustainable income models, market competitiveness, sustainable value chains, climate adaptation, efficient resource use, and improved biodiversity and ecosystem services.
