Reloop | Short film series highlights successful deposit return systems

Reloop and the Marine Conservation Society recently hosted a joint webinar to launch their new short film series, exploring what the UK can learn from European countries with successful circular systems. The films showcase Denmark’s Aarhus reusable cup initiative, which helps cut waste and normalise reuse, as well as Latvia’s nationwide deposit system, highlighting high return rates, cleaner recycling, and strong public engagement. 

The series offers practical insights into deposit return systems from a UK, Denmark, and Latvia perspective, demonstrating how these approaches can inspire positive change in the UK. Watch the films to discover effective strategies for reducing waste and improving circular practices.
