The Hague | Keeping civic amenity sites for residents only: new rules coming soon
01 December 2025
Members' News
Starting 15 December 2025, The Hague will enforce new rules at civic amenity sites. Businesses are not allowed to drop off waste at these stations, and residents using a company vehicle must show proper identification. This measure aims to prevent misuse of residents’ waste passes by companies. Civic amenity sites are only for household waste from residents of The Hague, while businesses must arrange their own waste contracts. Residents bringing household waste with a company vehicle, trailer, or rented/borrowed van must bring their waste pass, ID, and a letter with their details. No changes apply for regular passenger cars.
